Management Committee

The Management Committee consists of all the Directors of the different departments in the Band Administration office. It is supervised by the Director General.  This committee reports to the Chief and Council and General Assembly.


The purpose of this committee is to oversee the administration of the Band Office. Each director prepares and presents community and departmental plans and annual budgets of the First Cree Nation to the Chief and Council for approval. This information gets transmitted to all departments and to the General Assembly.


The objective of the Committee is to outline community activities, projects, transfer of funds, programs, ensure proper management of personnel, and other related responsibilities. The main principle is to have department directors responsible and accountable and prepare plans for their annual activities within their proposed budgets.
