Waswanipi Minor Sports

The local minor sports association (MSA) delivers activities, events and programs for the children and youth under 18 and takes part at many community events.

The MSA roles and responsibilities are to work as a team when it comes to planning, organizing, coordinating and implementing activities, events and programs for the community.

The MSA Coordinator is a proud member and representative for the following organisations;

  • C.R.E.E. (Cree Regional Events & Entertainment)- Minor Hockey/BB Edition
  • James Bay Minor Hockey League (J.B.M.H.L.)-Inland Conference
  • Hockey-Abitibi-Temiscamingue Representative (Hockey-Quebec)
  • Cree Nation Bears Hockey Players Representative
